General Member Information
Overall, as previously mentioned, each member of GHI/MRI works to form a team. A member's value is measured by either the time they dedicate or their profession. Members may either work mostly alone, communicating with the organization via email or other methods desired over the internet, or they may work closely together, communicating via telephone or more personal methods desired.
Choosing Your Membership
Members-
Perfect for any person wanting to pitch in and help GHI/MRI. Regular members may not always have time to dedicate to the organization, or time available to the organization may be inconsistant. Regular members will first decide which areas they would like to be most involved with.
They will then be put in contact, via email, with an Involved Member, who will help them to get started. The Involved Member will provide the regular member a type of list of things they can do to help the organization. In order to make it easier for regular members, one responsibility assigned to involved members is to coordinate all efforts so regular members mereley have to act upon the goals they are given for the areas they prefer. To aid in acheiving these goals, basic instructions may be provided.
It is recomended all members sign up for a seperate e-mail account to be used for GHI/MRI, although by no means required. GHI/MRI recomends this is because each member will have every member's e-mail address. Of all the information you provide in your membership form, this is the only information shared with any member. If you follow GHI/MRI's recomendation, we further request you sign up with gmail, which is a Google e-mail account. As gmail offers an instant message feature over the internet without downloading any software.
Professional Members-
Only individuals employed or licensed for certain professions may be professional members. Professional members may be able to use their knowledge to help GHI/MRI in acheiving important goals. Aside from their career choice, the professional membership is mostly similiar to the regular membership.
Invovled Members-
Clearly not for the average person, an Involved Member must have time to put forth into GHI/MRI and be willing to do so. These members may have the responsibility of coordinating efforts with other members who cannot spare the time to be fully involved. Involved Members may put together goals and help regular members to insure they make the most of the time they dedicate.
Professional Invovled Members-
To be a proffessional involved member, an individual must be licensed or employed in certain professions. Secondly, an individual must be willing to meet the criteria described above to become an Invovled memeber.
